Practise your driving test before the big day.

GMBR Driving Test Simulator lets you sit mock driving tests on routes around real UK test centres, with an examiner's directions and your result straight away.

Plays in your browser and on your phone

Built by people who had to pass the UK test themselves.

The examiner says “At the roundabout, take the second exit.” The dashboard shows 20 mph and a mini-map of the route. 20 MPH TEST · 07:42 EXAMINER At the roundabout, take the second exit.

Test day is nerve‑wracking.
Practising for it shouldn't be.

One bad moment can end it.

One serious fault, or too many small ones, and that's it. You're back to square one.

Failing costs you twice.

You pay to rebook, wait for a new slot (often weeks in busy areas like London) and lose confidence along the way.

Watching isn't practising.

Lessons depend on money, travel and your instructor's diary. Mock-test videos are free, but you only get to watch.

Your test, rehearsed.

Three ways to practise, as often as you like.

Stop 1 · Mock tests

Sit a full mock test.

An examiner gives you directions, just like the real thing. When you finish, you get a marked report straight away: what went well, and what would have cost you.

Stop 2 · Manoeuvres

Master the tricky bits.

Practise each manoeuvre and junction on its own, as many times as it takes, until it feels routine.

  • Roundabouts

Lanes, signals and when to go.

  • School zones

Slow down, look out, stay calm.

  • Parallel parking

Reverse into a gap by the kerb.

  • Bay parking

Back into a bay, nice and straight.

Stop 3 · Routes

Learn the routes.

Drive the roads around real UK test centres, with tips on where to slow down, one-way streets and no-parking zones. Starting with London, then the rest of the UK.

Who it's for

Made for learners with a test coming up, anyone rebooking after a fail, parents who'd rather not grip the passenger seat, people who want more than lessons, and drivers who learned abroad and now need a UK licence.

Good questions.

What is GMBR?
A driving test simulator that plays in your browser and on your phone. You practise the test itself: the routes, the examiner's directions and the marking.
Does it replace driving lessons?
No. Real lessons are still essential for learning to drive. GMBR is for everything in between: the test, the rules and the routes.
Which test centres will it cover?
We're starting with London test centres, then the rest of the UK.
When can I try it?
